Siamsa is an Irish word.  It means ‘entertainment’ or ‘musical entertainment’.  This piece was written by Ronan Hardiman, and, like ‘Gypsy’ formed part of the ‘Lord of the Dance’ show, starring Michael Flatley and a troop of Irish dancers.
